Problem Solving and Decision Making
Faced with a problem many people, and organizations, fix them rather than solving them. This means that the problems disappear for a short time but then reappear. The reason is that too often we deal with the symptoms of problems rather than with their root causes.
This programme presents a systematic approach to identifying the root causes of problems. It is only when the root cause is known that a problem can be effectively solved. This approach is supported by a variety of techniques; some of the techniques will be familiar but others will be novel. Using these techniques appropriately will provide the basis for an effective assault on problems at work.
