Introduction:
Legislation lays down strict requirements for companies to ensure that their staff are able to work in safe conditions that do not induce ill-health.
These requirements fall both upon individual managers and upon directors. Failure to meet them may render individuals liable for criminal prosecution. This is apart from any moral responsibility that organizations and managers have towards their staff.
Meeting these requirements does not need to be an onerous task providing that there are procedures in place to identify and manage risks. This course identifies what needs to be done to satisfy the legal requirements.
