The objectives of this programme are to enable participants to understand the purpose, function and processes of management, know how to manage themselves and their work, learn how to achieve objectives, set priorities and avoid stress, understand the skills and techniques in managing people, understand the skills of organisation, delegation, communication, motivation leadership and team development, learn how to conduct appraisal, counselling and disciplinary interviews, become aware of their own personal attitudes to management and prepare action plans for ongoing management development.
