You are here: Managing People Short Workshops - Train The Trainer

Train The Trainer

Train the Trainer
Anyone can be a trainer - but not everyone can train others effectively. You do not have to be a trained professional to be called upon to train staff. Those involved in training who would like formal training themselves or managers for whom training forms part of their responsibility will benefit.

The workshop will provide participants with:

  • An understanding of the process of learning.
  • An appreciation of different approaches and methods for training.
  • Practical experience in designing and delivering a training programme using appropriate techniques and aids.

Programme Content:
Participants will be involved in exercises and practical work throughout. This provides an oppourtunity to gain experience in a safe environment. They will produce and deliver a short training session using a range of typical training equipment.

Objectives:

  • How and why people learn
  • Learning styles and learner maturity.
  • Instructing and presenting
  • Objective setting
