Management Fundamentals (One-Day)

Introduction
For new managers, the step up in role can be daunting. You have mastered your own area of expertise, and now you need to manage and lead others: no longer is your technical expertise enough. This workshop is designed to give you the real essentials of management: confidence, assertiveness and the ability to make a powerful impact. You will learn about the dynamics of workplace interactions, options for managing conflict at work, and how to evaluate your strengths and set your own objectives.

Participants:
The programme is for new or prospective managers who want to develop their own personal effectiveness, the foundation stone of being an excellent manager and a refresher for experienced managers who want a reminder and some new ideas to put into action. This is an ideal introduction to our 3-day Management Programme.

  • An introduction to Transactional Analysis
  • Understand organisational Power Bases
  • Build self awareness
  • An introduction to managing interpersonal conflict

Duration
This course lasts for one day.

Our in-house course fee is £950 + VAT for up to 12 candidates. We will agree any other charges (room hire, trainer's travel costs, catering etc) with you before you make your booking.
